THESE ARE SOME OF THE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS SITE.
Are there any side effects to using this program? Not that I am aware of.
Was any clinical research done on this program to see what percentage of people it would help? No. I'm not a doctor or physicologist so this is all new to me. There is still alot of questions as to how this is able to work and who is affected the most. That's why I have asked for emails from the readers as to whether it helped them or not. Over a period of time I may be able to find a pattern.
When you quit smoking, how many packs a day were you smoking? I was smoking one and a half to two packs a day. I had switched to the cheapest thing I could find, which I found out later is made of floor sweepings. The major brands had gotten too expensive.
When you say you listened to the recording for 11 hours, is that what everyone needs to do? Not necessarily. At the time, I just happened to be working a job that required me to drive for 11 hours a day. As far as I know, there is no magic number here. Everyone is different and will probably require different amounts of time. When I first decided to do this, I thought I would have to listen for two or three days and then decide what to do next, if anything. I was in shock when I realized it only took me one day.
You said you have never had any withdrawal symptoms. Did you have any trouble deciding what to do with your hands now that they were not holding a cigarette? No, that was no problem for me either.
After listening to the recording for a whole day, how did you know you were now a non-smoker? I just got up the next day and didn't have a need to smoke. I had a lighter and pack of cigarettes still in my car but had no desire for them. I kept waiting for those familiar cravings to start but they never did.
Why do you think this recording worked so well? I don't know why it worked at all. Someone suggested that it is a form of self-hypnosis. I'm not sure I believe that, but I guess it's possible. I do know one thing. It dosen't do any good to listen to the recording just one time. You have to listen repeatedly. Someone else said that maybe I was "just ready to quit". Each and every time I tried to quit in the past, I was "just ready to quit". At least for a day or two anyway, until the cravings caught up with me.
Would it help if I could just quit buying cigarettes while I listen to the recording? Except for listening to the recording, nothing else in your daily routine should change. Allow the recording to do its job. If you try to force yourself to quit then you risk having cravings in the future which was always what caused me to go back to smoking. If you let the recording do its job, as it did with me, you won't have any cravings now or in the future. Apparently, somehow, its a brain thing.
